The office of planning and community development (OPCD) is reviewing proposed changes in the land use code intended to encourage backyard cottages. During the scoping phase they compiled and reviewed over 1,000 comments and incorporated them into a scoping report. If you are waiting to hear which if any of the proposed changes to encourage backyard cottage are likely to be adopted you have to keep waiting.
